Had a great meal at Kitchen 79 in Jackson Heights. The whole fried snapper was the highlight—crispy on the outside, tender and flaky inside, served with a sweet, tangy pineapple chili sauce that paired perfectly. The fried calamari was light and crunchy, and the grilled beef came with papaya salad and sticky rice for a nice balance of flavors. We also enjoyed the duck wraps and finished with a delicious mango mousse and coconut ice cream. The food was beautifully presented, the drinks were refreshing, and the staff were welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving authentic Thai food in NYC.

Had a great experience at Kitchen 79! The food was flavorful and beautifully presented. We especially enjoyed the Chicken Satay, Tom Yum Hot Pot, Pad Thai, and Mango Sticky Rice. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. Definitely a great spot for Thai food in Jackson Heights.

Kitchen 79 is absolutely worth the visit and lives up to its Michelin Guide recommendation. Every dish was full of authentic Thai flavors, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. We started with the Soft Crab Salad and Duck Roll. The soft crab was perfectly crispy and paired beautifully with the refreshing salad, while the duck roll had a crispy exterior and flavorful, tender filling. For the specials, the Crying Tiger was the standout of the meal. The grilled beef was juicy and smoky, served with sticky rice, papaya salad, and a bold chili tamarind dipping sauce that brought everything together. The Talay Pad Cha was another favorite, loaded with fresh seafood and fragrant Thai herbs, with just the right amount of spice. The classics didn’t disappoint either. The Pad Kee Mao had great wok hei and chewy noodles, the Yellow Curry was rich, creamy, and comforting, and the Pad Pak Garlic was simple yet packed with fresh garlic flavor. The service was warm and attentive, and the restaurant had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. If you’re looking for authentic Thai food in Jackson Heights, Kitchen 79 is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love this place. The opened after renovation and the interior is so cozy, beautiful and welcoming. The people that work there are so nice and the food omg. I had creamy shrimp salad and was incredible. The rest of the group 5 people ordered different dishes and they all loved it. The portions are big so some of us took it home. Definitely going back again.

We enjoyed the food here a lot. Noodles were soft and the chef stir fried them really well. We also had dim sum and satay appetizers. Both were really nice. The som tam was tasty too. Service was friendly and fast. Would return here for sure.
